Parent Workshops

Here at Ambleside School we are passionate about teaching and we really appreciate the important role you have to play in supporting your child and developing a positive attitude to school and learning. Research has shown that children learn best when home and school work in partnership.

We hold after-school exhibitions to showcase children's work and in class workshops where you can come and experience learning in your child's class. 

We also hold half-termly 'Stay and Play' sessions for our Early Years parents and for the wider community who have children of pre-school age. Each 'Stay and Play' session is centred on a different theme with a range of activities set up for parents to experience with their child in our setting. We usually share dates and times for these events via our school Facebook page, our website calendar and our school noticeboard on the driveway by Rothay Park.
