Our Golden Rules

Alongside our Christian values, the children are encouraged to follow 6 simple 'Golden Rules' that help to keep the children safe, happy and successful.  These 'Golden Rules' are used across all of the classes in the school and form a consistent message used by all staff to ensure high standards of behaviour and mutual respect amongst all members of our school community.

Our 'Golden Rules' are:

• We are kind and helpful.
• We listen.
• We are honest.
• We are gentle.
• We work hard.
• We look after property.

We have a weekly Golden Celebration during our Friday collective worship which is a perfect opportunity to celebrate our successes from across the week. During this time, children are awarded certificates for both their academic achievements and their community spirit (showing our Christian Values in action or following our Golden Rules).

Another opportunity for children to be rewarded for their efforts and achievements is through their Class Dojo account. On Class Dojo, children can create their very own 'avatar' and collect Dojo points from any adult in the school who spots a special moment or achievement.
